Days like this don't happen often so I cherish them while I can. Those days where I can vent about anything, pig out on everything I know I shouldn't eat, and laugh and cry all at the same time. I'm talking about a night with my sister. I may say this too much but THOSE nights are my favorite.
Making BBQ chicken pizza and talking about why we hate life this time never seems as relaxing as when you're doing it with family. The people you can be 100% percent real with and don't have to worry about your secrets being spread the next day.
Turning off our phones, sitting at the table true one-on-one Jess and Tess time. Days like this make my tension disappear and let me know however horrible things might seem... when I'm with Jess I know it will all work out in the end.

Things My Sister Taught Me (1)
So today I was thinking.. I have the most amazing sister in the world. And no she didnt buy me anything or give me some fabulous makeover(although that would have been greatly appreciated as well!), in fact we barely spoke to each other today. No what I'm talking about is all the things she has taught me that others will never know. But today im spilling. Im going to share the wealth of all the most important things that my sister has taught me. Starting with this and working my way down the list of everything a girl should know from her big sister. :)
So to start things off my sister taught me to follow my heart. Cheesy right? But it makes a lot of sense. She says when you follow your heart everything else will fall naturally the way it is suppose to.
Now this doesnt mean you will live the perfect storytale knight-in-shining-armour life when you follow your heart, but at least when things go wrong you have your happiness to look upon as the silver lining.
My sister Jessica is the best example of this, living life through its troubles and tribulations she knows her happiness is a factor in every decision she makes. And when she doesnt follow her heart she always finds a way to get back on track.
You see i dont believe honesty is the best policy, happiness is the best policy.
So follow your heart and happiness will follow.
Thats what my sister taught me.

Discounted Makeup- Heck Yes!
So a couple days ago Jess and I were able to spend a whole together, and since Jess and I are so busy that never happens anymore. So we went car shopping for me (which was a dismal failure) and then decided to take a little drive down to an outlet shopping center and cheer ourselves up with a little discounted makeup shopping! We found discounted Clinique and MAC and even some Bobbi Brown... but what we were really interested in was some discounted NYX! Come on now NYX is already cheap and soo hard to find in stores but we did! ANd let me tell you being able to buy NYX and not pay for shipping or have to wait 2 weeks for it was a very nice experience. SO we got all the staples from the NYX line complete with eye pencils, liquid eye liners, eyeshadows and of course jumbo eye pencils! :)
After that we went clothes shopping at Ralph Lauren ($10 tees!) BCBG, and Off 5th (Discounted Saks 5th Avenue). Although we didn't buy anything it was nice to drool and dream over all the amazing designer clothes and of course... shoes.
We finished off the day with a nice drive home fist pumping to our favorite music.. overall a very productive day. Nothing better than spending a day with your sister doing something you both love... discount shopping :)

LUSH Love
This weekend Jessica passed by a Lush and couldn't give up the opportunity to pick up a few little treats :) From the picture above you see that one or two little things quickly turned into 4. Darn those good sales people!Starting with the Bath Bomb "Butterball" (not to be confused with the Thanksgiving Turkey)which has a soft floral scent made for relaxing in the tub.
Then she picked up Ocean Salt which looks and smells like it came from the beach with its salty smell and turquoise color, this exfoliant made me start counting down the days til I can go back to the beach!
The next item was one we have tried before and is definitely one of our favorites and its called Lemony Flutter. Its the great 3 in 1 a mositurizer, cuticule fixer, and lip balm (random right?) But as you can guess from the name its yellow, lemony goodness.
The last product was one those dang sales people got us hooked on! But we can't really complain since it is so amazing. Its a lip exfoliant that looks like brown sugar, tastes like chocolate and get this... ITS EDIBLE. I know perfect right? We think so.
So altogether we all know Lush is an amazing company with handmade products that are hard to pass up. Just be careful to not spend all your shoe money!

Fortune Cookie Soap!
So our new obsession came from a little chinese take-out box! We're talking about fortunecookiesoap.com a website that sells the most amazing smelling soap in the shape of fortune cookies! SO cute. The soaps are a little small and awkward to lather on your body but its so worth it to smell like "strawberry champagne" or "sweet tart martini"
Definitely the perfect birthday gift for any girl. Just make sure you order in enough time because we ended up receiving the soap the day AFTER Jessica's birthday.
There's also the cutest bath bomb we bought in the shape of gelato! It even comes with a little spoon to dish it out with! ADORABLE.
Overall we give this site a thumbs up and will definitely be going back for more!Check back on our site soon for more reviews tutorials and hauls!
